Our Purpose
Street Peace is our response to Boston’s soaring rate of youth violence, which has claimed many promising lives, including that of T’Shana Francis. From our events, proceeds will be donated to the T’Shana Francis Scholarship Fund at Salem State College, where she was a year shy from earning her degree in Nuclear Medicine and Education. Our goal is to provide violence awareness and promote positive togetherness and peace in the streets of Boston’s communities.
Street Peace was established in June 2008. It is an organization that strives to create a safe environment for Boston communities by providing events and resources to the public that allows them to gain violence awareness and come together for a common good-peace. Street Peace was founded by a group of college individuals who have all been affected by street violence in their lives and community.
