What’s Going On?

August 13th, 2008

So yeah, this is my official blog! Plain, huh? Especially for a web developer, yeah I know. But, I’ve just been working on some other sites and just haven’t even had the time to create a design for my own blog! Oh well, it can wait.

So here’s what has been consuming my time lately.

http://www.strtpeace.com - Street Peace foundation’s official website. Street Peace 2008 is going down August 30th in Boston, so make sure if you’re in the area you check it out (plenty of Free stuff!). Follow the link for more information.

http://www.ericmendes.com/saec/ - This site is still in development, but it’s pretty much all done and I’m just waiting to upload this sucker to the proper server. It’s for UMass Boston’s Student Arts & Events Council and I’m hoping to get it up before the Fall semester starts up, so we can market this bad boy.

So yeah, these two sites were made completely free of charge, so I’m thinking that’s where I’m going with my web development thing. So, if you have a community organization or any program that helps out the community, and want to step into the digital age with a website, let me know, and we’ll work it out.

Teenager starts iPhone line in Boston … Forgets to bring the rest of the losers

July 9th, 2008

Anyone else getting tired of this? Three days before the iPhone 3G launches, a loser teenager is the first to camped out in front of the new Mac Store on Boylston Street in Boston, now the largest Mac store in the U.S. I’m hesitant to call this a “line” because a line usually consists of more then one person, but he does seem to have a chair for anyone that wants to be his friend.

Better hurry, I hear there’s a crowd of people leaving the Mac Store in New York, to represent for the fanboys! Pics included after the break!
